Thanks for this research! No good at all can come of impact investment, which amounts to the commodifcation of people's lives by the use of a global digital panopticon. Lots of useful links here for those not already aware of its sinister implications: https://winteroak.org.uk/impact-slavery/

Thanks for this. I don't know why but reading this I can't stop thinking it's still Halloween.

Yes as I said on Michael's substack, the Chandlers are Hamilton boys and they had a musical chain called Chandlers. But they've also been long gone from NZ.

Searching just now there's supposed to have been a "Chandlers House" department store. Never heard of it myself but maybe my memory is bad I don't know. I grew up nearby though...

I'm going to suggest that this "Department Store" is vastly exaggerated.

Only 33 hits all between 83 & 86 (I was away)

I'm still calling bullshit on this one. But maybe I'm wrong, who knows.

There’s definitely something rotten there. NZ Land? Charities?

I've no idea. Chandlers seemes overrated to me but maybe ask someone that remembers them. I remember only Chandlers Music but that is also missing from searches.

Thanks for this thorough research. Does ARC, as does Bill Gates' foundations, support private intellectual property rights of those that develop the drugs? If so, that would demonstrate that profits, not humanitarianism, is ARC's primary motivation.

That’s a good question, and worth investigating via the academia these groups fund: MIT, LSE etc.

@Paul Cudenec isn’t it curious that Schellenberger is on the Board of ARC, whilst simultaneously his lawyers are in court with Omidyar Group? Curious.
