Our local council provides witchcraft lessons to 'open up the black gate.' Plus obligatory drag queen story time and fashion shows and 'pool party with a drag queen' for kids. They are also selling off public land to private venture capitalists and refuse to open the books.
I really wish they would just pick up our rubbish and trim the trees.
Totally agree. These utilities have forgot their primary purpose. Our own council doesnt pick up any general rubbish; we’re forced to buy made-in-China plastic bags for $10 each to be collected whenever their contractors feel like it. It’s just beyond belief.
We have an incredible state arts museum here that has paintings from Australian artists like McCubbin. However, they hide these 'racist, Euro-centric' paintings away in favour of demoralising demonic 'art.' The reason why I bring this up is that, despite my protestations, during local council art festivals, there is never any mention of iconic Australian painters.
I used g00gle to try to research fifteen min city Welly and found virtually no direct references just alot of word salad about the plan....unsurprising. I'd like to know too.
Keep going Ursula.

That's why I always make the effort to feature this art on my Substack: https://vicparkpetition.substack.com/p/on-fear-mckibbin-fernando-pandemic

Read or watch the minutes from the Wellington City Council Meeting minutes to see lots of references to the Agenda.
